Viewing for Mr. Louya will be tomorrow night from 6 - 8 pm at Davidson Funeral Home.  

Service will be Thursday at 2 pm at Davidson Funeral Home.

**Note - NO CHANGE in Wednesday night's service at Freedom Baptist, per Pastor Billy.

Obituary: 

Jack Bryce Louya

March 30, 1932 - July 25, 2016

Jack Bryce Louya, age 84 of Louya Road, Lexington passed away suddenly Monday, July 25, 2016 at this home.


Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, July 28, 2016 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Marler officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday night and at other times at the home of his daughter, Donna Swicegood, 643 Louya Road, Lexington.

Jack was born in Davidson County, March 30, 1932 to Murphy Dennis Louya and Lillie Arlene Crotts Louya. He was a retired employee of Davidson County Schools and a member of Wayside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Teresa Ann Louya and a son, Gregory Scott Louya.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Joan Bruff Louya of the home; daughter, Donna Kay Louya Swicegood (Eddie) of Lexington; sons, Jackie Wayne Louya (Christine) and Timothy Joe Louya all of Lexington; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Jeanette Renner and Thelma Burch both of Lexington; brothers, Tommy Louya and James Louya both of Lexington.
